Now this was a man that I just loved. This is Phil Vassar and if you want
to see a great concert, go see him. Not to mention his music is great!

Now I did not get to meet the
great Gretchen Wilson but lucky
Suzanne Wilson did. This was in

Now this was one of the greatest days of my life. Whether you agree or disagree or like or
dislike a President, it is still an honor to meet both the President of the United States and the
First Lady. 120 soldiers were selected to have lunch with the President and I was lucky
enough to do just that. They has a bunch of dignitaries eating with us. I got to meet
Condaleesa Rice. She was an awesome person to meet. Anyway, we were not suppose to
bring anything into this luncheon, so I did not. Later I saw everyone getting the Presidents
autograph and I did not have one thing for him to sign, So I asked if he would sign my
uniform. He looked at another General who said, it is your uniform, and with that, he
signed my uniform. I think that I am the only person in history to have a uniform signed
by a president and during war time. This happened in mid 2003.
