These are pictures of people that I worked with while in Iraq.

This was a group of soliders that I met. There was no one over the age of 21. But they all had heart and seemed alot older.

Abeer - One of my Interperters & Friend

Halla, who is sister to Nebras. Everyone in her
family was born an American except her. Her mother
was not aloud to come to America during her
pregnancy with Halla due to complications. So she is
still in Iraq, while her siblings are here in America.
They were not aloud to leave Iraq under Saddams
reign without the family being put to death.
This is another interpreter, he was called the Professor. He was
schooled in America. On the Right is Nebras, who was born an
American. This was taken the first time Nebras had ever been
in the palace. He said that he never thought in his lifetime that
he would see the inside of Saddams palace. He now lives in
America.
Nebras worked for the Baghdad Police Department. I
worked with him designing a database for the police. He
left for America shortly after we were done.
This is the CENTCOM group with Ambassador Bremmer.

There was a Flea market in the Green Zone called the Hogie Market. The Iraqi's sold everything as you will see in the Pictures. The kids
were very curious as was the adults about what America was like. Could we have more than one wife (my question is why), What did America
look like, etc. I found them to be delightful and giving people. I enjoyed there company. They never once asked me what I did.
