My Time In Iraq
Counter
This is where I lived, after living in the Chapel.  This little trailer had 2 people per trailer and 1 restroom between two trailers.
I was Moving in, when I took this photo.
These are just some pics that I took
This is the Al Rasheed hotel that you
heard about when the war started.  They
kept sending missles into it.  But it made
little holes, unlike anything we did!  You
can click on this pic for a larger view.
This was built for us by one of the
Iraqi artist.  It was made from the
Statue of Saddam that was taken
down.  It represents an Iraqi child
comforting a soldier who is
grieving over the death of
another soldier.
This is what are desks looked like
lined up down the hall.
When you arrive or leave Iraq, this is a waiting area.  This is called a PX (Post Exchange) for you civilians.
We can buy all kinds of stuff here.
This is Udays Palace.  Well, what is left of it, we kinda blew it up.  You click on these pics for a larger view.
Well this is it.  I hope you enjoyed this little tour.  The next couple of pages have to do with just the soldiers.  This is a stuff time for those who are deployed.
Make sure they know that they are thought of, loved, and cared for.  Keep sending packages if you can.  Keep them in your prayers.  May God Bless and keep
them all, here and in heaven.
This plaque was made after Desert Storm.  It says
how the palace was rebuilt after we went over and
blew up the palace the first time.  I found it
interesting.
Saddams Throne.
These are the last photos of what
was.  All of these images have been
destroyed.
